The Appolo Control GUI software offers a range of features that have to be activated before use. The same applies to several Series 5000 devices. Follow these steps to activate any options:
1 - Start the Appolo Control GUI software.
2 - for activation of a server option like the Redundant Server Option or the AutoControl Option select the server you want to activate the option on from the device tree on the left.
2 - for activation of a device-specific option select the device you want to activate the option on from the device tree on the left.

- In both cases you should be able to select the "Options" tab in the
main control area of the GUI. Here you can find a list of available
options. Activated options will be highlighted green. Inactive options
will be displayed as "not active"
4 - Press the "Request Code" button on the right side of the desired option, if you do not have a license code already. A window will provide you information about your system. You may send this information to your distributor or to sales@lynx-technik.com to get more information.
5 - Enter your license code in the line below the listed options and click on the "Activate" button
6 - Appolo Control GUI software will confirm the activation and the desired option should be highlighted green as active. Any option activated this way should be working immediately.
