Manual entry of the UpdateManager credentials:

Select "My Computer"
Open Tab "Configuration"
Delete the values for the keys ASSETDB_PASSWORD and ASSETDB_USERNAME if existing, otherwise go to the next step
Enter your username (registered e-mail address) as value of ASSETDB_USERNAME (e.g.ASSETDB_USERNAME = test@test.com)
Restart the GUI
Enter your password (code LYNX provided) as value of ASSETDB_PASSWORD (e.g.ASSETDB_PASSWORD = d8dd86hg)
Restart the GUI
Now you should see the update manager in the tool menue
