The automatic discovery mechanism of greenGUI only finds greenMachines in the same subnet, but using the green plus sign in the top left corner one can add greenMachines outside the subnet if their IP addresses are known. After clicking on the plus, an input field for the IP address appears and the connection is established by clicking on "Find".
